Weddings (and Honeymoons) in Aruba

The Radisson Aruba Resort and Casino is offering a destination wedding package deal that includes everything you need for a romantic ceremony on the beach and a built-in honeymoon for $1600. There's also a honeymoon package for those who are having the ceremony at home.

ARUBA, September 26, 2003 – The days of $25,000+ weddings that take months to plan are dwindling as more brides and grooms are opting to trade the expenses and headaches for more intimate, laid-back experiences. To make planning destination weddings and honeymoons easy to arrange, Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino is offering flexible Wedding and Honeymoon Add-On Packages. Both packages are designed to enhance any room reservation and are available now through Dec. 17, 2004.

Radisson Aruba’s Wedding Package option costs $1,599 and includes:
• Limousine transfer to and from city hall (for legal ceremony) • Marriage license, legal fees and Registrar (weekdays) • One bouquet of roses and one boutonniere • Professional photographer (one location, 72 exposures) • Officiant for resort ceremony • Beach/lawn set-up, including seating and wedding arch (2-10 people) • Bottle of sparking wine following the ceremony • Single-tiered wedding cake (serves up to 10 people) • Chocolate and cordials the night before departure • Take-home his and her bathrobes

Additionally, the resort is offering a Romance Package option for newlyweds getting married at home, then jetting to the island for their honeymoons. For $350 couples can indulge in the following amenities:
• One-half hour massage for two • One romantic Sunset Sail for two • Bottle of Sparkling Wine • "Do not Disturb" Honeymoon Door Hanger • Take-home his and her bathrobes • Chocolate and cordials the night before departure

Guest Enrichment Program Adds Spice to Honeymoon

While on property, newlyweds can enjoy Radisson Aruba Resort & Casino’s signature Guest Enrichment Program, designed to enhance the total guest experience. Many activities are free of charge, while others require a nominal fee.
