Thanksgiving Hotel Specials
The Jefferson in Washington, D.C., a Loews Hotel located just four blocks from the White House, is beckoning travelers to Washington, D.C. this holiday season with its "An American Holiday" program. Throughout November and December, The Jefferson will warm guests with complimentary evening hot chocolate and cider in its fireside lobby. The luxury hotel will host its 2nd Annual Foyer Football Fiesta on Thanksgiving Day, with complimentary fireside snacks and the day's football games on a big-screen television. The Library Hotel in New York City is offering rooms from $225/night include complimentary breakfast, wine and cheese, free Internet access and passes to New York City Sports Club. Rates are valid November 26-30, 2003.
At the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Vidalia's Low Country Cousine will serve a Thanksgiving buffet feast by Executive Chef James Clark for $25 per person. This four diamond buffet will include a carving station offering Turkey, Smithfield Ham and Beef Strip Loin; an ambrosial selection of salads including Fire Roasted Root Vegetable Salad, Pecan Chicken Salad, Tomato Basil Mozzarella Salad and Harvest Wild Rice and Walnut Salad; a tempting display of vegetables and side selections featuring Collard Greens, Smothered Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes, Cornbread Dressing and Wild Rice Pilaf; and a delectable array of desserts including Chocolate Pecan Pie, Coconut Cake, Low Country Trifle, German Chocolate Cake and Sweet Potato Pie.
