Aspen Hotels from "Dumb and Dumber"?
Thursday November 18, 2004
A reader recently asked me about the Aspen hotels used in filming "Dumb and Dumber." I guess he wanted to cozy up to the same fires where Harry and Lloyd thawed out after their infamous cross-country moped ride. You gotta have role models, right?
I had good news and bad news for him. Bad news is, "Dumb and Dumber" was actually filmed in Breckenridge, not Aspen. Those Hollywood types can be sneaky. The good news is, Aspen does have plenty of cozy ski lodges, historic and romantic hotels, and luxury ski-in ski-out condos.
Be smarter than Harry and Lloyd -- use my guide to Aspen hotels to help you choose. Descriptions, price ranges, photos, and even a map of Aspen hotels so you can pick lodging closer to the ski lifts -- or closer to the shopping. Your choice.
