Here's a trend worth watching: a handful of luxury hotels are putting cell phones in each guest room. The phones can be used anywhere in the hotel. As hotels at all levels begin to remodel in the hopes of keeping guests on property longer, lingering in lobbies and meeting in lounges, a phone that doesn't keep guests tied to their room is an excellent addition.
