Guess I'm a visual person, but this strikes me as really useful and darn cool. Better Bidding, one of the two sites you shouldn't skip if you ever bid on hotels at Priceline, has kicked it up a notch with an impressive new map feature.
Pull up an interactive map of a handful of cities -- New York, San Francisco and New Orleans among them -- and zoom in to see markers for hotels won recently in bids by members. A pop-up includes links to see the recent successful bids (like the JW Marriott for $49), pictures, reviews and the hotel's official web site.
