Moody Gardens After Hurricane Rita

I just saw live footage of the glass pyramids at Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas. it looks like the pyramids came through Hurricane Rita just fine, without a pane broken. KHOU reports the pyramid glass was designed to withstand 140 mile per hour winds. The animals were all evacuated to the first floor of the aquarium pyramid.

The entire complex is scheduled to open September 28.
