Fab Star Hotels
Friday July 7, 2006
Hotels have long been rated with stars, but now they have a new association -- with stardom. Several stars are lending their fame to recent hotel projects.
- Elizabeth Hurley is the latest shareholder in London's Eleven Cadogan Gardens.
- Nicky Hilton is lending her name to adjoining South Beach hotels Breakwater and Edison, which will be rebranded as the "Nicky O"
- Ashton Kutcher and Wilmer Valderrama have their eyes on South Beach hotels also. Rumor has it they're considering opening up a third location of their restaurant, Dolce, in The Angler's Hotel, a hip redevelopment of a classic 1930s hotel. The second location is opening at the Grand Sierra Resort (formerly the Reno Hilton).
