The "New" Beau Rivage

Monday August 21, 2006
Beau Rivage in BiloxiThe beachside city of Biloxi, Mississippi was all but wiped off the map with the tidal surge that accompanied Katrina one year ago. The casinos, all on barges over Gulf Coast waters, were especially hard hit, some picked up completely and deposited on the roads. Beau Rivage's casino and accompanying hotel, employing thousands of Mississippi residents, was no exception.

On August 29, one year after Katrina's devastation, Beau Rivage will reopen and welcome 3,800 employees back to work. Guest rooms, the casino, the theater, seven restaurants, four bars, the spa, the retail shops, the golf course and the meeting rooms have all been completely redone. Find out more about the new Beau Rivage and see pictures.
