Checking In: Sofitel Heathrow

Once landed at London Heathrow's Terminal 5, the stress of finding my way to my hotel disappeared as I realized it was a short walk through a sky bridge and an elevator ride away. Sure, the Sofitel London Heathrow is an airport hotel, but once inside, I forgot all about the noisy planes outside. I certainly couldn't hear them taking off for all those exotic locales, although I was close enough to count heads through the windows. As a meeting destination, I can't imagine a more convenient place than Sofitel London Heathrow. For the first or last day of a London vacation, or even as a base of operations, it makes sense; a 20-minute express train puts you in central London.
