The hotel's trendy attitude and plush decor will appeal both to the young and young at heart. It's located across from the spectacular Millennium Bridge and is within walking distance of the Newcastle/Gateshead arts and entertainment district. Everything about the cosmopolitan, luxury hotel is a bit over the top, but in a good way. The lobby of Malmaison Newcastle is like a plush cave. You may be in England, but the feminine elevator voice greets you in French."
