Monte Carlo: Port Palace Hotel

Holly Reich checks in to the Port Palace Hotel in Monte Carlo: "The hotel is very trendy, spare and chic, the service is quick and the quality is top-notch. The rooms are spacious, spare and elegant. The common areas and halls display funky abstract art pieces and trendy photography. This feels something like the W-with a more flair and a European sense of humor. The front desk staff is bi-lingual, a definite plus."

"All rooms face the Monaco Port, with sensational views of yachts and the Prince's castle on the Rock. The serene decor is by Leila Menchari, Chief Designer of Hermes. She has done a lovely job of bringing in that spectacular light of Southern France. Bright sunny colors, painted walls, iridescent silks, marble, and streamlined furniture create a unique ambiance."
