Pillow Menu, Please

By November 30, 2010

Follow me on:

I wake up with a stiff neck more than I care to, and believe me--it's no longer from water skiing these days. Still, I have yet to determine if I'm a goose down or Tempur-Pedic sort of girl when it comes to pillow preference. So when I see that little card next to the bed--a pillow menu inviting me to choose how best to rest my head--I rejoice. Four hotels that pamper you with pillow options:

  • The Four Seasons Hotel Singapore advises "tossers and turners" to try out their Latex pillow for support no matter which position you twist yourself into, and offers a hypoallergenic feather option for "snifflers and sneezers."
  • Talk about exotic--when in Paris, opt for your choice of wheat, de-stressing, beautifying, horse hair (!), osteopathic or synthetic pillows at the ultra decadent Hotel Plaza Athenee.
  • The three F's on the pillow menu at the Milliken Creek Inn, in California's Napa Valley, stand for Firm, Feather or Foam. So drink up--and rest easy!
  • Hypoallergenic linens--including pillowcases on your choice of cushion--are on the menu at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Weston, FL.
