How to Search For Library Books Online
From your Hotels/Resorts/Inns Guide

Do you ever go to a library, find the book you want and then when you get to the shelf it's gone? Save some time by finding and reserving your book online. Learn How.

Difficulty Level: Easy    Time Required: 10 minutes

Here's How:
  1. Go to the Calgary Public Library homepage http://calgarypubliclibrary.com
  2. Click on the "Library Catalogue" link on the lefthand menu.
  3. In the new browser window, click on "Library Catalogue" and then "New Search" on the lefthand menu.
  4. Then conduct your search just as if you were in the library. Search by title/subject/author.
  5. When your search results appear you can read the details on any book by clicking on the title. Then an option to put the book on hold will appear.
  6. At this point you will need your library card #. Good Luck.

Tips:

  1. Remember to find your library card first if you would like to hold a book.
  2. You can print the list of books that meet your search requirements. This makes it easy to go to the library and find your books.
