Pool area of the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida

Tony Conboy III
If mom and dad need some time alone, or if they just want to help keep little "junior" happy, a trip to the La Petite Academy on the grounds of the Gaylord Palms is just the ticket. From inception many years ago when resorts began setting aside small rooms for children to play to today's facility at the Gaylord Palms, hotels and resorts have steadily offered more and more activities and dedicated more space for children - this is definitely the case at the Gaylord Palms.

For drop off care at the facility, children must be 3-14 years old. Rates are $10 per hour for one child; $18 for 2 children. Snacks are included in the fees and meals can be arranged through in room dining.

Kids will have a great time in the 4,000 square foot facility that includes almost every type of game and activity.

  • Arts & Crafts
  • Video & Recreational games
  • Softplay climbing unit
  • Construction activities
  • Videos
  • Karaoke
