To sharpen your game, there is another 9-hole pitch and putt golf course that is free and available without having to schedule a tee time. Finally, for golf fanatics to hone their skills, there is unlimited use of the Grand Cypress Golf Club driving range.

Lighted tennis courts, basketball courts and an equestrian center, round out opportunities for fun. The Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort is well known for its equestrian center. For an additional charge, the equestrian center features western style trail rides through the Florida palmetto brush and oak trees and an English-style riding academy. Don't worry if you've never saddled up before, there are programs for beginners as well as those with years of riding experience.

The Resort is built on 21 acre Lake Windsong and its white sand beaches. Available at no cost to guests is unlimited use of canoes, small sailboats, pedalboats and aquacycles. There are also adult and children's bicycles available for use, free of charge, as well. Whether you are a runner or just want to explore the sights, there are 9.2 miles of nature/jogging/bike trails that meander around the lake and the entire complex.
