How Hotel Was Selected: We found Country Inn and Suites while hunting for a dog-friendly hotel during our annual concert trips to Winnepeg Manitoba.

Description:
The rooms are beatiful, not your standard hotel room, complete with king-size beds in the suites, seperate bedrooms, TV and VCR in both bedroom and main room. Regular rooms came with TV and VCR, fridge, coffee and coffee machine, queen-size bed, and sofa-bed.

Room and maid service are very helpful, and an included full breakfast in the room price makes it an ideal getaway (must go down to lobby for breakfast). Movies are complimentary, including most new releases and older favourites. Coffee, tea, and other beverages are available 24 hours a day, as is a desk clerk for inquiries.

This hotel (and others in the chain) are advertised as pet-friendly, and we found that our accompanying dog was welcome with us in the lobby and wherever we went. The grounds in Winnepeg were small, but well-kept and pleasant to wander around.

For a managable price we really enjoy our annual stay in Winnepeg, as this particular Inn is close to everything we needed in downtown Winnepeg.
