Cynthia Taylor How Hotel Was Selected: Worldpoints travel rewards from MBNA Description: Found in the small town of Kamuela, also the home of the famous Parker Ranch, is a cozy inn called Waimea Country Lodge. Finding a place to stay in the big island for those with their budget in mind is not the easiest task. Many of the well name hotel chains are sparse and when planning activities on the big island it's difficult to find a central location since the two main cities are on opposite sides of the island. That is why the Waimea Country Lodge was such a find! Reasonable prices and located centrally on the northern portion of the island, traveling to and from the various attractions the island has to offer became more of a sightseeing pleasure than a chore. The staff is friendly and personable, remembering names and helping with directions and weather updates. The rooms are spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the peaceful rolling hills that give the big island that country ranch feel. More Guest Reviews
