Name: deadbolt
Hotel: Intown Suites
Location: 7121 Preston Hwy., Louisville, Kentucky

Date of Visit: July, 2003

How Hotel Was Selected:

Description:
This place should be closed down! My wife had the unpleasant circumstance to stay there for 4 weeks. When she checked in she found: Feces in the dresser drawer, someone had blown their nose on the bathroom wall and bathroom fixtures, the toilet paper was bloody, the bed comforter was bloody, there was urine (animal or human is unknown) in the shower. The room smelled like a kennel and the carpet was so filthy she was afraid to walk on it without shoes. She complained, and then two days later they finally cleaned the room. While she was there, it was obvious that there was no security at all, as strange men would constantly drive into the parking lot and watch the female guests staying at the hotel, whistling, cat calling and generally harassing them.

She stayed there for four weeks and they never cleaned the room the entire time. The maids did come in, and they were witnessed going through her personal effects, credit card bill, paycheck stub and etc.

When she complained to the manager of the hotel, the woman's response was "Why didn't you complain sooner?"

I called the district manager for Intown, left 4 messages before he called me back and told me, "You are not a guest so I will not discuss anything about this with you at all."

My wife then called him, told him when she would be in the room on his voicemail, and also gave him her cell phone number. When she got back to the room, there was a message from him, after he knew she wouldn't be there. She called him back again, and there was nothing but voicemail again, and no return call once again.

When she went to check out, there was no apology, no offer to discount the $80 in maid service charges, or anything. Simply another "Why didn't you compain earlier?"

This place is dangerous, a health hazard, and poorly managed, and should be closed down!
