Question #2

What area of New Orleans do you prefer?

* If you are going to a convention, try the Warehouse District, where most hotels are walking distance to the convention center. Parking in the French Quarter is at a premium, and although most hotels offer parking for a fee, consider staying in a different area. Hotels in the Uptown/Garden District, a residential area with plenty of restaurants and bars scattered throughout, can also be very convenient to the St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, making it easy to travel from the Audubon Zoo all the way to the French Quarter without a car. Hotels in the Downtown/Central Business District area are generally walking distance to the French Quarter. For more information on each area, see the New Orleans Hotel Maps
