What's Special About the Bucuti Beach Resort: The smallest and most intimate of Aruba's hotels provides a quiet, restful and romantic setting. Crowds and kids seem far away, and drinks are brought right to your beach chair. Two nights a week, romantic movies are shown outside under the stars. Not a place to travel to alone; bring someone whose eyes into which you wish to gaze.
Guest Rooms and Rates: 104 guest rooms and suites in neutral tones of sand and walnut with private terraces. Rates from about $165 in summer and $270 in winter, including daily breakfast buffet.

Children at Bucuti Resort: The quiet atmosphere at Bucuti is designed for couples seeking a romantic and private hideaway, and children are not encouraged at the resort. Tara Beach Suites has an adults-only policy. Bucuti Beach Resort allows one child per room, but does not offer amenities for children.
Honeymoons at Bucuti Beach Resort: When I visited, Bucuti Beach Resort was full, yet quiet with plenty of room on the beach. The resort is picture perfect for honeymooners who like privacy. Let them know it's your honeymoon when you make your reservation, as there are special amenities like engraved champagne flutes.
Dining at the Bucuti Beach Resort: Private romantic dining can be arranged on the beach (a popular setting for proposals). The open-air Pirates' Nest Restaurant is inspired by a 16th century Dutch ship and serves a Champagne buffet for breakfast, an a la carte menu for lunch and seafood and steaks at dinner. For an additional daily fee ($33 per person at this writing), guests can purchase the "dine around" program that covers several local restaurants.
Recreation and Entertainment at the Bucuti Beach Resort: The Alhambra Casino is adjacent. Guests have access to preferred tee times at Tierra del Sol golf course. The concierge can arrange excursions such as sunset sailing trips and Jeep tours of the island.
