A rarity, this resort caters equally well to couples seeking privacy, families, beach lovers and those seeking a more urban environment. The complex encompasses two hotels, the Marina Hotel (catering to adults) and the Ocean Suites (for families). The Renaissance boasts Aruba's only private island with 40 acres of private beach. A water taxi is provided from both hotels (coming right into the Marina Hotel's chic lobby). The Marketplace has 100+ shops, restaurants and Aruba's only movie theater.
Guest Rooms and Rates:
559 rooms and suites, from $130. All rooms have high-speed Internet access. Marina rooms have French balconies and overlook the ocea, Oranjestad or the interior hotel atrium with its river taxi. Two outdoor pools at the Ocean Suites plus a private beach on Renaissance Island give kids plenty of room to play. Daily iguana feedings on the island fascinate nature lovers. The Patamingo Kids Club is open year-round for 5 to 12 year olds, and offers day and evening sessions.
