Grand Hotel Bad Service - Grand Floridian, Member alicedisneyfan

I booked my Magical Trip for 11/18 - 11/22. The Disney Travel Co convinced me to take an extra day because I would be getting free dinning plan. The Grand Floridian is a beautiful hotel, comfortable and plenty of space. The only complaint was the front desk. At one of the dinning restaurants they forgot to give back my hotel card. So I ask for another at the front desk, the front desk then issued me a new one, she forgot to put any dinning plan on it, in return the next restaurant I had to pay out of pocket for my meals. Back to the front desk I went I approached a Michelle she was rude and told me it would take a day or two to figure things out. Alot of the workers at disney world don't seem to have the magic. The second day I booked a reservation at the Ohana resturant the reservation was at 9:40 pm it was the only one I could get. We got there 2 hrs ahead of time, we had a tropical drink and waited and waited. 9:40 came and went they told us we couldn't be called yet because no one wanted to leave... we ended up waiting 30 minutes more. The food was excellent, even though it was very late. We proceed out to catch transportation to our hotel. Monorail broke down. People with small children were left to walk a trail in the dark, we asked a bus driver going to Downtown Disney if he could leave us at our hotel, he agreed. Walt Disney is magical but some of the employees need a lesson on how to be customer friendly not the bus driver but the front desk people at the Grand Floridian.
