Set in Yosemite at the turn of the century, Disney's Wilderness Lodge uses trees, carvings and even a geyser to transport you from the middle of Florida to the Northwest. Disney's Wilderness Lodge: Guest Rooms

Courtyard rooms may look out onto Bay Lake or the swimming pool; you can also choose a Woods or Standard view. Some standard rooms are available with one queen-sized bed and one bunk bed for the kids. Higher floors with woodland views have partial views of the Magic Kingdom. On lower floors, request a courtyard view to see the geyser or the pool.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge: Restaurants

Artist Point (fine dining) has some of the best salmon I've ever had, Whispering Canyon Caf? is all-you-can-eat barbeque and features rollicking fun with enthusiastic waiters and stick-horse races for the kids, Roaring Forks (food court), Territory Lounge (microbrew and cappuccino)

Disney's Wilderness Lodge: Activities and Amenities

Swimming pool with a short water slide, plus a small beach on Bay Lake Fitness center, massage and sauna, motorized boat rentals, fishing, bike rentals, movie rentals, jogging trail. For kids: Cub's Den (supervised children's program), Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long and movie, kiddie pool, arcade, playground.

Disney's Magical Express is a free service that transports you and your luggage to the hotel.

Ask to be the Flag Family; you may be asked to help raise the flag on the roof. The free "Wonders of the Lodge" tour shows you the architecture of the resort. Watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach nightly at 9:30 pm. A 120' geyser erupts on the hour daily.
