Disney's Yacht Club Resort

At Disney, the Yacht Club and the Beach Club Resorts are both located a short walk from Epcot's World Showcase. Many consider the pool area (Stormalong Bay), with its shipwreck theming, huge water slide and sandy bottom pool to be the best of any Disney resort. A boat services Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios theme parks (buses are available for transportation to the other parks). There are also a number of excellent restaurants in nearby Epcot's World Showcase. Stormalong Bay is a three-acre pool area with a large shipwreck-themed water slide, sandy bottom, water currents and a small kids' water slide. There is also a "quiet pool." Bayside Marina rents water sprites and boats.

Disney's Magical Express is a complimentary service that transports you and your luggage to the hotel. Kid's Nite Out, a private company, provides in-room babysitting or fun, trained mother/father helpers to spend time with your family; call 407-828-0920 to arrange in advance. Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf is a short walk away, across the street from nearby Swan and Dolphin Resorts. Boats run to Epcot and Disney's MGM Studios. Epcot is a 10-minute walk. Buses are available to the other parks. You can see Epcot's Illuminations fireworks and laser show from the beach or from the bridge to the Boardwalk.
