By Charlyn Keating Chisholm, About.com

What's Special About Shades of Green:

The U.S. Department of Defense owns this resort on land leased from Disney World, and offers affordable rooms to active and retired military personnel only. The resort reopened in March 2004 after a $92 million renovation. A 600-space parking garage and a new restaurant were also added during the renovation.
