From Julie K: After reading all the bad reviews about this place, I was pleasantly surprised. We had two adjoining rooms (for our party of 2 adults, 5 children) and they were clean, replenished daily with soap, shampoo, and towels. Although they are a bit smaller than the average resort room, that doesn't seem like much once you are there (and you are hardly in your room anyway).
Don't let the fact that it's a value resort scare you; I thought it was wonderful and can't see spending hundreds of dollars more for practically the same type of room, pool, etc. at another hotel. The food court was fine for our needs and the bus lines were not that bad at all.
One recommendation I have is that if you are visiting any of the parks, be sure to leave at least an hour before closing if possible. The one draw back we found was the there is usually only one bus for all of the All Star Resorts and the wait is LONG if you stay until closing and then try to get in line. One night at the Magic Kingdom we waited almost an hour in line to finally catch a bus back. Three buses came and went before we finally got on one.
