From Heidi: My husband, two girls and inlaws stayed in the cabins in Walt Disney World, and I would never stay anywhere else.
Besides the fact you can just walk out your door into fresh air without having to go through a lobby, you don't have anyone staying above you making noise.
The swimming pool and laundry were right next door (pool was heated for night swims). Every day they cleaned our rooms and made us wonderful animals out of towels in every room, which the kids especially loved to run home to find. They even straightened our table if we left our paperwork all over.
Everywhere you want to go, there is an easy bus system which comes like every three minutes. We could go to any park we wanted early and come back in the late after noon to cook on the grill than go somewhere else in the evening.
At night, we went down to the campground beach and watched the fireworks from the castle. We loved it and it made it all so easy. We would go again.
