Food was OK, but not as good as Disney Deluxe Resorts. However, it was less than half the price, and it was good, just not impressive. Should you want, you can easily dine at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, or Contemporary, within a short walk or monorail ride.
Bottom line. I would rather stay at Shades of Green than the Disney Contemporary. I am planning on taking my family back every year.
Just a fantastic family friendly environment at less than half the price of other resorts located in Disney World. A great MWR benefit.
