From Rob: The rooms and amenities are first rate. The grounds and clubhouse are spectacular. Rates are reasonable, for what you get.
We have been going since they opened. There are improvements each time we visit. The restaurant is attractive and the food passable-to-good. Service is friendly and efficient.
The negative (for us): the clientele...especially in tourist season and especially for dances and the DJ...has over the years become less classy. Some visitors think that loud discussions peppered with obscene and overtly sexual language is now okay at dinner. This is a turn off to us.
Last time we ate in the upscale dining room, the adjacent table was loudly sharing stories of their sexual exploits, which we really didn't want to hear. At dances, there are more displays that border on or achieve vulgarity.
We're just nudists, so, in the future, we will stay away from places/times where we're going to be offended. This is a shame, because otherwise the place is nearly perfect.
