We reserved and paid for a Tower room through Expedia about 4 weeks ahead of our trip to Vegas. However, when we arrived, the unfriendly front desk checked us into a low-rate Manor room, which is in a filthy 3-story complex separated away from the main tower. We told the front desk that the room we paid for was supposed to be a Tower room. We showed the Expedia printout to the front desk. But, the hotel insisted that the rate that we paid for was for the Manor room.
Felt tired of arguing with these dishonest disgusting people at 11-ish pm after a long drive from LA. We had to drag our luggage back into our car, which was parked a couple of blocks away, and drove another 1/4 mile to that filthy Manor room with dirty towels, uneven bed, and flat pillows. The room does not have any sound proof [so] that it was difficult to fall asleep with street noise and upstairs noise coming into the room.
Came back from the trip, not feeling good of being cheated and lied by these scums, we called up Expedia. Expedia confirmed that we indeed paid for the Tower room, but scammed by these disgusting crooks. The hotel explanation to Expedia was that the Tower room that we paid for was all booked out, and because we reserved for a 2-queen bed room, they had no choice but to put us into a lower-rate Manor room! They lied that they have explained that reason to us. These low-life scums can fart out any unashamed, illogical lies any way they want.
Do NOT stay in this disgusting hotel, where is run by dishonest crooks, crowns, scums, and lowest-low-life in the universe. The food is the worst kind for the roaches too.
Save your pleasant trip to The Mirage, or anywhere else. I had good experience with The Mirage, when they ran out of a room that you reserved and paid for, they moved you up to a suite. Not like these scums in the crown hotel will downgrade you with cheats and lies.
