The pool is supposedly one of the nicest in Las Vegas which is why we returned for our fourth stay at the Luxor. Never again! It's June and 100 degrees, and you can't sit by the pool before 9 AM, and it closes at 7 PM. Can't even have coffee by the pool in the AM or a drink in the PM.
It was a very big disappointment, but one pool was roped off the whole week we were there. We tried to talk to the pool manager, but he didn't show up or return our phone calls.
After four mornings, we complained to the spa manager, who was very helpful. We were finally allowed in at 8 AM just to SIT by the pool -- not to get in it! Lots of complaints by people who showed up and were turned away by the not-so-friendly guards.
Luxor-wake up! This is a 24 hour town and your pool area is promoted on your website. Let people in!
