From Dave: We have been to Las Vegas six times in the last year but have never stayed at the Monte Carlo. We were extremely satisfied with all aspects of this resort.

At 10:00 pm check in was quick and the front desk agent was very nice and helpful. The room we requested was not available the first night of our stay but they gave us the room number for the next three nights when we checked in and the room was available when promised the next day.

The room was very nice and we had a great view of the Strip. The Race and Sports Book was nice but individual TVs (like most hotels have) would be a great addition.

Overall most of the dealers were friendly and helpful (21 and craps tables). Free drinks, while gambling, were always available and plentiful. The pool area is great with a wave pool and lazy river although the construction next door at City Center is just beyond the poolside wall.

My wife enjoyed the spa and the exercise room. The restaurants (Cafe, Noodle House) were great. The buffet was good but pretty ordinary.

We have already made reservations for our trip next month. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay on your Las Vegas Vacation.
