Finally by 7:00 pm we all had rooms, but NOT THE EXECUTIVE SUITES that we had booked three months in advance. My brother and his wife were put into a casino suite which was nice just not as big and not what they booked. My dad and stepmom were put into a handicapped room for the night because they didn't even have another executive suite available until the next night! Let me tell ya if that's were they put you if you are handicapped -- I WOULDN'T TELL THEM THAT YOU WERE!!!
My husband and I actually got our room but the view that we payed a ridiculous amount of money for was of their air conditioning system!!!! They were not a bit friendly about any of this. Their way of making all of this OK was to tell us that if we didn't want our rooms they could re-book them in a matter of minutes. It was up to us whether we stayed or not!!!
Now remember we had a total of 14 people staying at this hotel. Getting reservations somewhere else at this point was not an option that any of us wanted to deal with after a four-hour flight and 8 1/2 hour wait for rooms. We were tired and really just wanted to be done with it.
It took my husband and I 45 minutes to get our bill cleared up with them, while they treated us like we were trying to take advantage of them!!!! You also may not want to make ANY PHONE CALLS from your room, they do not tell you that they are going to charge you $1.00 per local phone call!!
