From MJ: Shockingly outdated; room not cleaned; toilet not scrubbed; carpeting similar to indoor-outdoor and dirty looking; mirrored ceiling (why? A brothel?); plastic wastebaskets; no chair at desk portion; very old looking; poorly lit; dark dreary hallways; ancient elevators; cheesy vendor stalls on long walk to Tower Rooms (and they were an upgrade over garden rooms).
Ancient casino with few electronic ticket machines; seedy appearance everywhere; few ramps to carry luggage from one level to another; co-workers got sick in the breakfast buffet; and what a selection of patrons.
If you like to rub shoulders with the cut off T-shirt, sideway cap and dirty pants crowd, you'll love the Tropicana. Very, very less than blue collar.
