From Traveler1002: The room is not as advertised, some of them are in poor condition. Peeling wallpaper, dirty carpets that get your socks black.
The bathroom fixtures are rusted, the "courtyard" has no landscaping, mostly dirt, most of the amenities do not exist.
The service was good, the staff friendly, the manager needs to learn some people skills, she is rude.
I was going to stay again at Mardi Gras, but the want $300 for a $99 room, not worth the price. You can get a better room for less in a better hotel in the same area, on St. Charles to watch the parade.
