From NPope: A wonderful hotel for pre-teens. Took my 10-year-old niece there and had a great stay.
The rooms are suites -- a roomy bedroom (with TV) connected to a living room with a comfortable sofa bed and TV. The "Choose your pillow" selection was fun and made my niece feel special.
The hotel is located right off the beaten path, so is quiet but not out of the way of Central Park, etc. I plan to take my grandaughter to New York in the spring and will choose the Benjamin again.
