From Picky Traveler: The Embassy Suites in Lower Manhattan is located just a couple of hundred yards from the World Trade Center site and on the Hudson River.
The hotel was clean, the staff was attentive, and the complimentary full breakfast was excellent, especially the omelets made to order.
I've stayed in Manhattan about a dozen times (usually by Times Square) but this location was convenient and close to Canal Street and Orchard Street shopping.
