From Ms. G.P.: This was an excellent choice for our family, with a handicapped person who could not use the subways. Good neighborhood, with all the essential shops at hand, and mostly accessible. Cabs usually available in front of the hotel. Central Park and museums close by. Neighborhood seemed to move at a slower pace than usual in NYC -- good for us!
Our hotel room (one of the largest non-suite rooms) was accessible, clean, comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because storage space for clothing was skimpy.
