I really didn't have a choice to stay here. My sister decided that's where she wanted to be married. So we stayed there for two nights and three days. I had read many online reviews, most negative, and I wasn't really looking forward to our stay. However, I think for the price (just over $200 a night w/fees) it was very nice.
The staff was courteous. We did have a slight problem with our bill, but they fixed it right away. The room was a decent size with an OK view. Their fitness/pool facilities were very nice. I didn't like the fact that you had to pay extra to play tennis, but we found other things to pass the time.
The location of this resort is fantastic. I'm not really into the whole spa thing so I didn't make use of those services, hence I don't know if they are worth the money. But if you're looking to get away for a nice weekend, I would definately recommend the Claremont.
