The Bottom Line:
The ghost
of a man named Lyle haunts the Groveland Hotel. He lived in the hotel
until his death in 1927.
The Story:
He is known to play tricks on the guests. For
instance, he doesn't like women's cosmetics on his dresser; he usually
moves them to a nearby sink or knocks them on the floor. He also turns
lights on and off and turns on the water in the shower. Occasionally,
he disappears for a while, perhaps visiting his former girlfriend at the
Charlotte Hotel across the street.
