By , About.com Guide

The Bottom Line:
Cottage Number 4 in the Hotel Maison de Ville is said to be home to a country music-loving soldier. Dressed in military uniform, the man first appeared to a hotel employee twenty years ago. Reportedly, he changes the radio station to a country music channel and turns up the volume.
The Haunting:
Spirits of the less ghostly kind also have a history at the Hotel Maison de Ville. A former resident of the building, Antoine Amede Peychaud, was a pharmacist who invented the modern "cocktail."
