The Story:
General Anthony Quitman was a hero of the Mexican War, an early governor of Mississippi, and the owner of Monmouth Plantation.
The Haunting:
Guests see the General in his blue military uniform. One man in room 30 was awakened by a clicking sound. He saw the general walking towards him, clicking his boots in the brick floor, and then disappear. The next morning, he saw a painting of the General and realized who the late night visitor was.
