The Bottom Line:
This hotel
was known for the Hollywood stars that frequented it (Gary Cooper, Spencer
Tracy and Jane Russell, to name a few). Now, it also plays host to a number
of ghostly guests.
The Story:
In the hotel
bar, the ghost of a former bank robber doesn't seem to want to leave.
As the story goes, he and two other robbers stopped in at the bar to have
a drink after robbing a bank, even though one of them had been shot during
the getaway. The robber died before he could finish his drink.
The Haunting:
Another ghost
sighting is of a bellboy, who knocks on doors and disappears. One room
hosts a man who endlessly paces, clearing his throat. Outside of the Zane
Grey suite, a woman has been spotted wandering the halls.
