After the special effects tour, I made my way to the opposite end of the ship for a very different kind of experience. The "Peter James' Ghost Encounters" tour, while not nearly as dramatic as the "Ghosts and Legends" experience, was in many ways more interesting.

The tour was led by a Queen Mary staff member, who told us about experiences the staff of the ship have reported. The tour took us into the stateroom where Winston Churchill stayed. According to legend, he planned the D-Day invasion while taking a bath and playing with toy ships. In this room, people have reported smelling cigar smoke.

I didn't smell anything out of the ordinary or take any orb pictures here, but it was an interesting side trip.
