About.com Rating one out of Five

From a guest reviewer, for About.com

From Lora: We picked this hotel because it was cheap and we figured we would not be in the rooms other than to sleep. We had 2 adjoining rooms in the manor section of the hotel as we are a family of 5. The rooms were okay but the outlets in both bathrooms did not work.
When I called housekeeping to inform them, I was told to call 0 and I would be put through to an engineer. No one ever came on the phone. Luckily I brought a hairdryer and mirror. Someone had spilled some lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes in the hallway of our floor and it remained there for our entire 3 day visit.
The indoor amusement park was very crowded - definitely over capacity. Same way with the games. We had a problem with a lot of children as well as adults running up and down the halls at all hours - sometimes beginning at 6:30 in the morning. I think a better hotel would not put up with the ignorance of the guests. Also, the buffet was horrible. Cold food that should have been hot; salad and dressings were warm. Nasty!
