Guest Review of Disney's Port Orleans Riverside

From Fiveofus: We stayed in the Magnolia Terrace section of Port Orleans Riverside. We were quite pleased with our room, even staying there with 2 adults and three children. I read someone else on here say the rooms were very small, but we didn't find that to be the case at all. After all, we're at Disney World--we weren't planning on spending much time in the room anyway.

There were 2 double beds and enough room on the floor for us to set up a twin-sized aerobed each night for our son. We brought in feeding chairs for our twins, along with a double stroller, and with all our clothes unpacked into the drawers, plus a big Rubbermaid container for our breakfast-in-the-room stuff, we were still comfortable. It's technically not a closet, but there is a curtain that divides the vanity section of the bathroom and clothing from the main portion of the room.

It was extremely clean when we got there and each day when the service cleaned. You have to pay $10 a day for Internet service to the room, so be prepared for that if you're interested.

There's a little boat that will take you right from Riverside to Downtown Disney which runs until 11pm, the main pool is quite cute with the sort of grist-mill theme this resort has going.

The Boatwright's Dining hall was a surprisingly yummy place to eat. If you're on the dining plan, try the filet--wow!

Overall, we were quite happy with our stay. If you're planning on spending a lot of time in the room, I guess you might want something larger, but we are a family of five and were perfectly content with our room there. Definitely get the meal plan if you stay in a Disney resort for a great all-around experience.
