From Flicker: We stayed at Hilton Sandestin Beach Resort during the Gustav evacuation of New Orleans.
When Gustav forced us to alter our original evacuation reservations - we had to arrive a day earlier and remain a day longer - we were told that we had to pay full price for our rooms. No empathy was shown - just an interest in taking advantage of the misfortunes of others. We came here with six other families. Not one of us will ever stay in a Hilton Resort again because of our experience with the management at Sandestin.
