From Tim: The hotel was very extravagant and the service was good. Everyone was courteous, and the service was fast, but at times, some of the staff was a bit stuffy.
The terrace restaurant on the 4th floor had an incredible view of the canal, so it really added to the meal. Our room was comfortable, but the decor takes a little getting used to, kind of dates the place. The lobby and bar areas are something to see. We enjoyed our stay but would probably try something else next time.
