From Dan: Enjoyed the Luxor, but if you plan to sleep past 9 am during summer/fall '08 construction take the $20 room upgrade and don't stay in the pyramid! The noise echoes through the atrium and is deafening all day. Our room was slightly run-down (mold on the ceiling in the shower) but comfortable. The tram to Excalibur combined with the new-ish strip monorail picking up at MGM makes Luxor's location convenient these days. Pool area was packed all day, yet they left only two pools open (which we found irritating).
