From Joanne: Well upon check in I was told I owed $2559 which surprised me because I had already sent the entire payment and also had a small credit. They couldn't find my payment - and the front desk lady (older woman) was not "disneyesque".
After about 20 minutes she went in the back I guess to find a manager. When she returned she said they would research the problem and get back to me. Meanwhile I found my receipt which said "paid in full".
Also the room was clean but not spotless like I expect it -- cobwebs in the lamps, glasses not entirely clean, hair on the floor of the bathroom. I've stayed there a lot (more than 10x) and this is the dirtiest I've seen that hotel. Also the socket by the sink was not working so I couldn't blow dry my hair unless I took the blow dryer into the bedroom. I reported it and it took 3 days for them to replace the electrical socket. I am sending a letter separately to discuss more problems I had this trip. I love this place and hope it doesn't take a turn for the worse -- I already booked my 2009 vacation.
